July 2010  Entrepreneur Network Meeting

“Preparing your business to do business with government at the local, state and federal areas” will be the featured presentation at the Entrepreneur Network Meeting in McCook on Friday, July 23.

Scott Knapp, Certified Contracting Assistance Specialist at the Nebraska Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) office at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will be the featured speaker at First Central Bank, McCook, beginning at 12:00 noon. The program will focus on how a business can register for government contracting, and how to search for opportunities for business. Mr. Knapp can assist local businesses wanting to look at opportunities that can expand their marketing opportunities.

The first Entrepreneur Network meeting was held in January 2009, with 70 attendees hearing a positive economic message from Governor Dave Heineman while they enjoyed lunch, sponsored by First Central Bank.
